The Fresno Unified School District is proud to serve the students and families of Fresno. The Fresno community has a history of strong community leadership and has been instrumental in the reform efforts of the district. Choosing Our Future was a pivotal community report that inspired the significant transformation of the district, setting the stage for major improvements in student achievement. The Fresno community is guided by a set of community values, which was adopted by the FUSD Board of Education in 2003. The district values its partnership with community leaders and organization and the Community and Family Engagement Network helps to encourage community partnerships to support student learning.
