The mission of the Instructional Materials System is to provide high quality services to schools with regard to instructional materials. The primary services include: providing accurate information regarding the adoption status, price, and availability of all instructional materials; the monitoring of classroom, library, and state textbook funds and orders; ensuring legal compliance; arranging annual district orders of instructional materials and periodicals; and assisting with adopting, ordering, receiving, cataloging, and distributing of instructional and library materials. Services include the maintenance of the district stock of state-adopted and district-developed instructional materials.
