Mobile Health Center Services
Well Child Physicals/School Entry Physicals
Any Fresno Unified Student that meets the requierements may receive a Physical Exam .
The student does not have to attend one of the scheduled sites to recieve services.
Students that will be enrolling in Pre-School and Kindergarten must receive a physical exam prior to enrollment .

Sports Physicals
Fresno Unified Students that are in need of a sports physical exam can recieve their examination at the Mobile Health Center if they do not have a primary care provider or health insurance.The MHC will provide assistance in obtaining health coverage and if needed a physician's referral will be provided. The MHC will Pre-enroll all the students that qualify for available programs. For all students that have a primary care provider it is advisable to schedule an appointment with your own physician as soon as you are aware your child will be participating in a sport.

Immunizations
All Fresno Unified Students that are in need of immunizations can receive them at the scheduled locations. The MHC will provide TB Skin Tests during the week Except Thursdays and scheduled Holidays. On Fridays students will need to visit The Student Health Services clinic for any immunizations needed.

Health Insurance Coverage
The Mobile Health Center will assist the families with Health Insurance Pre-enrollment. The familiy will be pre-qualified to receive certain services through Healthy Families or Medi-cal for one month based on their eligibility. The family has to complete the enrollment by mail or by visiting their Medi-cal Eligibility Worker.
 
The Fresno Health Consumer Center is providing assistance with the enrollment in a Health Insurance Program for children provided by Kaiser Permanente. Children from 0-18yrs old that are not covered by any health plan and are not eligible for public programs such as Medi-Cal or Healthy Families , and if they are not eligible for health insurance under parent's employer may qualify.
