Fresno Unified School District Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative


This initiative is funded by a federal grant to provide students, schools, and the community the benefit of enhanced comprehensive educational, mental health, social service, law enforcement, and, as appropriate, juvenile justice system services that can promote healthy childhood development and prevent violence and alcohol and drug abuse.

Funding level

approximately 2.7 million dollars per year, from October 1 2002 through September 30, 2005
