Open House/Book Fair This Week

We are looking forward to our Open House Tuesday night, May 22nd, from 6:30—8:00 p.m. In addition, the Book Fair will be open in the Library for students to peruse and purchase some reading material if desired. Please make plans to come by and see the students’ good work displayed!

Schedule Notes

Next Monday, May 28th, there will be no classes due to the Memorial Day holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 29th. In addition, the last day of the school term will be Friday, June 15th. Tentatively classes will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on that day. For planning purposes the first day of the new 2012-2013 term will be Monday, August 20th.

Slogan Contest Continues

We are now accepting entries for the 2012-2013 “slogan”. Students, staff, and/or parents may submit slogan ideas and multiple entries may be accepted. While I enjoy getting artwork as well, the artwork is not considered. Some of our slogans over the last few years have included “Turning Bright Minds into Bright Futures”, “ A Good Education—Priceless”, “Train the Brain”, and “A Pathway to Success”. Entries will be accepted until June 14th.

College Choices Announced

We are entering the time of year when we begin to hear about college choices that some of our former students are making.
