Goal: That all Duncan
students will become advocates for their own learning. Duncan students should
expect the following average number of minutes per night (Monday – Thursday):

90 minutes of homework in the 9th
grade «
100 minutes of homework in the 10th
grade «
110 minutes of homework in the 11th
grade «
120 minutes of homework in the 12 grade Duncan students are
expected to:

Turn all homework in on time «
Keep an organized area in a binder for
each class «
Write assignments in the school-purchased
agendas «
Devise a plan for the time and the place
for completing homework «
Ask for any missed work from an absence at
an appropriate time «
Complete their own work (copying is not
acceptable) Failure to meet these expectations will result in teacher follow-up and/or further training. |
