Because of the outstanding work of our employees, we are making strides in Fresno Unified School District to prepare our graduates to be career ready. We believe that all students can and must learn. Our Board of Education is committed to high quality instruction, to strong district leadership that is courageous, to providing safe and secure learning environment, and to sustaining a culture that will produce breakthrough results.

Together with our Board of Education, we have outlined our goals through 2013 and aligned all of our work to achieve them:

  All students will excel in reading, writing, and math
  All students will engage in arts, activities, and athletics
  All students will demonstrate the character and competencies for workplace success
  All students will stay in school on target to graduate

We are fortunate to live and work in a community that values education. I am confident that we will continue to make significant progress with the support and partnership of our community. Together, we will prepare career ready graduates that our community and our region need.
